I am learning to make a rhyming string (car, far - fat, cat, sat - word families).

"I remember to do finger spaces and full stops. I am good at drawing the picture for my writing.  Writing the date is tricky for me.  I copy Mrs Wyatt's board.  Writing my name is easy for me.  My friends and Mrs Wyatt helps me."

I am learning to solve addition problems by counting the objects.

"I am good at counting the counters and other objects.  I can get the answer, and it is right.  It is hard with the big, big numbers.  Mrs Wyatt and my brother helps me."
